Head-pruned old vines, planted on slopes at more than 600m.
Soil:
Soil very poor in organic matter, with an large percentage of decomposed slate.
Elaboration:
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Maceration of the skins is performed using the bazuqueos technique without pumps, for a total of 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, followed by 12 months’ aging “sur lie” in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 litres. Bottled without clarifying.

Aromatic and complex bouquet. Berries and ripe fruit with balsamic and spicy notes, slightly roasted with an elegant background minerality.

Full-bodied, with a rich and bulky feel. Maintains freshness and complexity promised by the bouquet. Silky and perfectly integrated ripe tannins. A deep wine with a long finish.
